Dr. Lisa A. Crawford The Music Stand Foundation, Founder/President
Through the experience of being a child composer, a working composer, and performer, Crawford now focuses on composing, teaching, and research in the areas of: composing and teacher education, state policy and funding issues for music education, K-12 composition education, and works with young composers. Having taught music from the age of 12, Crawford has worked musically with piano and composition students, was an agent representing emerging composers during the 1980s, and since the 1990s, continues to develop entertainment and technology companies. Dr. Crawford is published in the International Journal of Music Education, has a Masters degree in Music, a Masters degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction (both from University of the Pacific), and is a Doctor of Musical Arts University of Southern California).
There are so many ways K-12 students can participate in creative music making through composition and technology.

As a seasoned entertainment executive with a strong sense of professionalism, together with self-confidence and high energy, Kelly Johnston is capable of building quality and efficiency with exceptional management skills into companies and peoples’ lives.Johnston began as Personal Assistant in 1986 to singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks and developed a broad skill set in the role while seamlessly managing a wide range of duties to maintain a high-profile celebrity’s life. Between 2001 and 2009, Johnston was personal assistant to Christopher Lowell, the Emmy-award-winning host of the Christopher Lowell Show airing on the Discovery Channel and Fine Living Network. She also provided production management to Christopher Lowell Enterprises.Between 1996 and 2000, Johnston worked in management for Los Angeles-based real estate developer, LGW Construction.Currently she is building a new company, Frontline Concierge and serves on the Board of Directors of The Music Stand Foundation.
The Music Stand Foundation is fortunate to have an administrative guru managing the role of Secretary. Jan has much musical interest and a beautiful voice but also supports us with her years from the private business sector. We are grateful to have her!
Don't be fooled by the 30 years of business administration and accounting experience! Annella Faye is one of the greatest character actresses ever to grace a stage. Annella is also one of our most creative "idea" people. She completes our music-heavy board with 35 years of experience in in many theaters as an actress, high school theater educator, and as producer. (Annella is far left in photo...could you guess?!!!). Annella is also an Agape Licensed Spritual Practitioner.
